A steel frame featured from the interior that allowed for large windows and doors and steel and glass stairwell from main floor to roof deck gave the home a unified design. Board-formed concrete work at totem and retaining walls,, and ornamental steel elements on the interior and exterior all added to the challenge of the build and visual consistency throughout the interior, and from interior to exterior.
Interior finishes were consistent throughout the house with bleached white oak floors, custom cabinets, and paneling. Black porcelain tile is installed at all bathrooms and entry. Chroma countertops are installed at kitchen and all bathroom vanities.
A patio of cast-in-place concrete pavers and and ipe deck coupled with large sliding doors at the main floor create ease between interior and exterior. The ipe roof deck adds another location to relax and take in the great view of lake Washington.
